Sweet Insomnia

I hate to sleep after a good converstaion with you,
Makes me high with hallucinations all new.
A fantasy I see while I am awake,
With you in it,this sweet insomnia is reality which I can't fake.

In this moonlight, I fear, to see my lone shadow,
Where this slience void of you, rises like crescendo.
A benighted traveller in search of you,
My paths, as they twist and turn, grow narrow.

Following the illumination this place I found,
As the dawn broke, with a sweet chirping sound.
At every inch of which I felt your presence,
A heaven, I told time, where I found my essence.
